Appointments and Fees

Dr. Cousins currently performs abortions two to three days a week, typically Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Our fax number is (607) 785-3915. We prefer to speak directly to the patient but will accept appointments from partners or parents. Have ready the date of her last menstrual period, her medical history, her date of birth, and complete insurance information. 

The fee includes lab work, counseling, birth control, medication, sedation, and a follow-up exam. For patients 12 weeks or more (from the Last Menstrual Period or LMP) there will be an additional charge. Currently, fees range from $450-520 depending on length of pregnancy. An Rh negative blood type requires a medication which costs an additional $30.

Dr. Cousins accepts most insurance plans with prior verification including NYS Medicaid. The cash fee is discounted for patients who are not covered by insurance. An additional discount is available for patients with the Pennsylvania Medical Card. Cash or money orders and VISA, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover are accepted as payment; personal checks are not. Fees are expected to be paid in full at the time of the appointment.
